Reza Ghazali

Reza Ghazali is a highly accomplished professional with over 35 years of experience in Executive Search, Public Relations Advisory, Business and Strategy Consulting, Leadership Assessment, and Board Advisory. His client-centric approach has effectively served multinationals, government-linked companies (GLCs), family-owned enterprises, and local conglomerates.

Until 2024, Reza held the position of Head of Asia Pacific and Head of Board Services ASEAN at Pedersen & Partners, where he managed operations across seven countries, including ASEAN member states, India, and China. Reza’s most extended tenure was with Korn Ferry International Malaysia, the world’s largest executive search firm, where he dedicated 23 years and ultimately became the Office Managing Director from 2005 to 2018, also serving as acting Managing Director for the Thailand office.

During his career, he successfully conducted numerous board and C-suite searches, board assessments, and talent and leadership advisory assignments for prominent local conglomerates and foreign-owned companies across various sectors, including Banking, Insurance, Technology, Telecommunications, Property Development, and Industrial. His consulting expertise encompasses advising boards, presenting strategic insights to chairpersons, and engaging with nomination and remuneration committee chairs. With significant exposure to management consulting, Reza has developed a deep understanding of strategic initiatives, business process re-engineering, change management, project management, and organizational restructuring for clients in oil and gas, automotive, banking, and healthcare.

Hafizah is a seasoned HR professional with experiences across various industries. She specializes in Strategic Human Capital Management (HCM) and has a proven track record in designing and delivering HR initiatives which facilitates personal and Organizational transformation. In her 24 years of experiences, Hafizah has led the HR Division in a local Bank, led the Talent Management work and projects and has provided HR advisory services in her working capacity. Overall, Hafizah is a result-oriented leader with a passion for people development. Her diverse industry experience allows her to understand the Human Capital needs, enabling her to customise solutions in driving the Strategic People agenda to support Organizations.

Kheng Hua Tan

Kheng Hua is a seasoned Executive Search Professional with over 18 years of experience in Search and Leadership Assessment. She has worked with multinationals and local conglomerates to recruit top management and C-level decision makers. A committed partner to her clients, she has a strong record of delivering and brings her solution-based, entrepreneurial mindset and big-picture thinking to close challenging, business critical positions. “Clients don’t only engage me to find them business-as-usual executives, the professionals I place help clients to transform, grow and take their businesses to the next level”.

Prior to collaborating with Boardworks, Ms. Tan held positions as Managing Consultant and Principal with global leading search firms Korn Ferry and Pedersen & Partners respectively. Her primary focus was on retained search for Global Technology, Consumer, and Financial Services Markets leading research teams and achieving notable promotions. Having worked across Consumer and Technology, coupled with a keen interest in the space, she is also well versed in the Digital and Fintech industries with multiple successful senior placements in the field.

Her areas of expertise include talent identification and assessment, sourcing strategies, research and market mappings. She speaks fluent English with basic Bahasa Malaysia and Cantonese. Ms. Tan graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Food Science from Cardiff Metropolitan University, United Kingdom.

Specializing in identifying and placing corporate strategy and finance-related talent, Izzat has successfully helped reputable organizations secure high-impact leaders. Before transitioning into executive search, he worked in accounting firms, focusing on tax matters. His accounting background has provided him with valuable insights, enabling him to better assess and match financial leadership candidates with the right opportunities.
